The Community Calendar is a public service of KWMV. The calendar’s purpose is to provide timely, accurate, complete and unbiased information about local events sponsored by non-profits, government and quasi-government agencies or charity fundraisers that take place within the Wet Mountain Valley and/or Custer County. Business and for-profit events events will not be included.

Because of airtime limitations, the primary focus of the calendar is on special events and events that only occur once or twice per year. Regular meetings and weekly events will only be included when there is time.

The calendar is pre-produced by VOLUNTEERS two times per week. Please submit event announcements as early as possible and double check the information – it is not possible to make last minute changes to the announcement.

To have your non-profit event included in the KWMV Community Calendar please complete and submit the form below three weeks prior to the event.

Please include all event information with:
1. Name of the event and/or a brief description
2. Date, time and location of the event
3. Name of the non-profit organization sponsoring the event
4. Contact information - contact person and phone number
5. Cost, if any, and whom the proceeds will benefit

KWMV cannot guarantee that all events will be included in the calendar or that specific wording will be used in the announcement. KWMV will do its best to provide this information in a complete and timely way but is not responsible for errors or misinformation.
